Toledo Operation Results In More Than 100 Apprehended And Millions Of Dollars Worth Of Drugs Seized

The Toledo Police Department has revealed the results of its first Toledo Enhancement Area Method operation of the year.

According to TPD, the BUMA/Lawrence Area Safety Environment Response, or BLASER 3.0, was effective in combating gun violence, drug sales, traffic infractions, juvenile offenses, and blight. It also led to over 100 arrests and the confiscation of millions of dollars’ worth of drugs.

The operation marked the first T.E.A.M. initiative of 2025. According to TPD, T.E.A.M.’s mission is to improve Toledo residents’ quality of life.

Search Warrants Executed: 7 Gun Safety Billboards: 4
Dollar Amount of Drugs Seized: $4,627,171 Community Events: 2
Persons Arrested: 141 CPTED (Area Businesses & School Contacts): 36
Citations Issued: 556 Junk/Abandoned Cars Towed: 186
DUI Arrests: 24 Blighted Properties/City Referrals: 53
Parking Tags Issued: 88 Truants Contacts: 26
