India has firmly denied social media-fueled rumors that its forces targeted a Pakistani nuclear facility at Kirana Hills during Indian Armed Forces‘ successful ‘Operation Sindoor‘.. At a joint military briefing, Air Marshal AK Bharti sarcastically remarked, “Thank you for telling us Kirana Hills houses a nuclear installation — we didn’t know that,” while emphasizing that Indian forces struck only terrorist camps and infrastructure.
The briefing featured top military leaders from the Army, Navy, and Air Force, who outlined the success of the operation. Lt Gen Rajeev Ghai and Vice Admiral A N Pramod joined Bharti in reaffirming that the operation was a targeted counter-terrorism strike, not a provocation against Pakistan’s nuclear assets.
This comes amid speculation linking recent regional earthquakes to military action — a claim India has categorically dismissed.
