Fayetteville police have arrested two suspects, including an 18-year-old Quincy Case and a juvenile, in connection with a shooting that took place on May 21 at a Wendy’s restaurant on Skibo Road.
The juvenile faces charges of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury and is currently held under a secure custody order.
Quincy Case was arrested Sunday following a car chase after police attempted to conduct a traffic stop. Case faces multiple charges, including assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, discharging a firearm into an occupied property, possession of a stolen motor vehicle, felony fleeing to elude, careless and reckless driving, and operating a vehicle without a license.
On the night of the shooting, a woman was found shot at the Wendy’s and was transported to Cape Fear Medical Center. Authorities report she is expected to recover. The restaurant building was struck by multiple rounds, but no other injuries were reported.
Case is currently being held at the Cumberland County Detention Center on a $20,000 secured bond.
