A woman allegedly attacked a local McDonald’s employee because she was upset about how long her drive-thru order took.
According to authorities, the incident occurred Friday night at the McDonald’s on New Garver Road in Monroe after a woman, 43-year-old Tia Hatch, ordered food at the drive-through.
Hatch apparently began arguing with the employees because her order did not arrive on time. The woman then allegedly exited her vehicle, approached the drive-through window, and struck the employee who was attempting to provide her a refund.
Hatch then drove away from the area, according to authorities. She was detained and charged with assault.
