Man Arrested for Multiple Burglaries in Colorado Springs

61-year-old man charged in connection with stabbing, 2024 crime in Raleigh

A man was arrested early Saturday morning on several burglary charges, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD).

Officers responded around 3:45 a.m. to a reported burglary in progress at a home on the 1400 block of West Pikes Peak Avenue. The suspect had allegedly entered the home illegally and caused damage.

While officers were clearing the scene, the CSPD Communications Center received multiple calls about a naked man attempting to break into homes in the 1300 block of West Colorado Avenue.

Police quickly responded to the updated location and located the suspect, identified as Chad Orr. Authorities say he had broken into a closed business.

Orr was taken into custody and is facing several charges, including multiple counts of burglary, criminal mischief, and resisting arrest.
