A driver with an outstanding arrest warrant was apprehended in the Village of Waterville.
According to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy stopped the motorist on May 20 at about 3:30 p.m.
During the arrest, a quantity of methamphetamine was found in the driver’s possession.
Samantha Kabana, 34, of Brookfield, is charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and illegal possession of a controlled narcotic.
She was discharged and assigned a new court date.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, “This arrest marks the defendant’s third arrest in the previous eight months [and] the second warrant arrest stemming from a failure to appear in court.”
