Authorities are investigating a shooting that occurred early Sunday morning outside a local bakery in Knightdale.
According to officials, the incident took place just before 2 a.m. on North Smithfield Road, near Cake Town Bakery. One person was shot in the chest and arm, law enforcement told Eyewitness News (WTVD).
As of Sunday evening, there is no word on the victim’s condition, and no suspects have been publicly identified. The Wake County Sheriff’s Office has not released further details.
