The Toledo Police Department has revealed the results of its first Toledo Enhancement Area Method operation of the year.
According to TPD, the BUMA/Lawrence Area Safety Environment Response, or BLASER 3.0, was effective in combating gun violence, drug sales, traffic infractions, juvenile offenses, and blight. It also led to over 100 arrests and the confiscation of millions of dollars’ worth of drugs.
The operation marked the first T.E.A.M. initiative of 2025. According to TPD, T.E.A.M.’s mission is to improve Toledo residents’ quality of life.
