According to police, Alondra De Jesus and her daughter, Grecia Benitez, have been found safe in Wake Forest.
The Garner Police Department and the SBI and FBI continue to investigate. Authorities say more information will be shared soon.
Authorities say a mother and her young daughter were kidnapped from their home on Buck Branch Drive in Garner.
Three armed suspects—two men and one woman—forced their way into the home and demanded $1 million from Eliuth Alejandro Martinez.
When Martinez refused, the suspects tied him up with tape and abducted his 13-month-old daughter, Grecia Salome Alejandro-Benitez, along with his wife, Alondra Michelle Benitez De Jesus.
The FBI and SBI are assisting local police with the investigation.
An Amber Alert was issued for Grecia, who was taken with her mother.
Grecia has brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink pajama shirt with red and yellow striped pajama pants.
