An investigation is underway after a string of car break-ins early Tuesday morning at an apartment complex on Leesville Road in Raleigh.
According to police, a resident reported a group breaking into cars just before 2 a.m. When officers arrived, they chased the suspects on foot. One was apprehended immediately, and a K-9 unit tracked down a second.
A third suspect managed to escape and remains at large. However, Raleigh Police said they are not actively searching for that individual at this time.
Authorities confirmed that one of the arrested suspects is an adult, while the other is a teenager. The adult faces multiple charges, including felony breaking and entering, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and resisting, delaying, or obstructing a police officer.
