Smithfield police are searching for two individuals after a shooting Monday, including 17-year-old Zayvion Boone, who is considered armed and dangerous.
Authorities say Boone and another person arrived at Kay Drive in a black Ford Fusion and fired multiple shots.
Police told WRAL News the person hit was not the intended target and is currently in stable condition at the hospital.
The Ford Fusion was later found in Selma, and the investigation is ongoing with more arrests expected.
