Glenn Lee Brown, 15, was found safe in Chicago on Friday, nine days after vanishing from Pennfield High School.
Brown was last seen entering a wooded area behind the school on May 7. His whereabouts remained unclear until a confirmed sighting put him on a train to Chicago.
The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office, with assistance from Chicago officials, found the teen unhurt.
The exact circumstances surrounding Brown’s arrival in Chicago are still being investigated.
Authorities allegedly found him in good physical condition, but they have not provided any additional information on how or where he was located. He has been reunited with his family.
