Monroe County, Missouri — Human remains were discovered just outside of Paris, Missouri, last week, prompting an ongoing investigation by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
On April 18, deputies reported finding the remains on a property off Highway 154. An autopsy revealed that the remains had been exposed to the elements for an extended period, with no signs of trauma.
Authorities believe the remains belong to a white male in his mid-30s. The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control, is investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.
