A Durham County deputy is facing serious charges following his arrest on Wednesday related to a prostitution case. The Durham County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that 48-year-old Deputy Sheriff Derrick Neville was charged with solicitation of prostitution and patronizing a prostitute.
Neville has served with the department for 19 years. Following his arrest, he was released on a $5,000 unsecured bond and placed on administrative leave while the investigation continues.
