Car Crashes Into Middletown Post Office on Route 35

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — A white sedan crashed into the United States Post Office building at 1601 Route 35 around 2 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. According to police, the driver accidentally pressed the gas pedal instead of the brake, causing the car to accelerate through the front door.

Car crashes into post office in Middletown, New Jersey

The police chief confirmed that there were people inside the building at the time, but thankfully no injuries were reported. The driver also escaped unharmed.
