Aubrey Foxworthy, 81, of California, Missouri, faces multiple weapons charges announced by the U.S. Department of Justice on Wednesday, May 14th.
Foxworthy was charged with possession of a silencer and possession of a machine gun. The National Firearms Registration and Transfer Record confirmed that the silencer was never registered to him. According to the superseding indictment, he also possessed an AR-15 conversion device.
Previously, Foxworthy had been indicted for selling firearms without a federal license and for possessing a rifle with an unregistered barrel shorter than 16 inches.
The investigation involved the Boone County Sheriff’s Office, Jefferson City Police Department, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
