A body was found Friday night near a popular stretch of the Pikes Peak Greenway Trail in Colorado Springs, according to local police.
Authorities said the body was located just before 9 p.m. in the area near I-25 and Cimarron Street, close to America the Beautiful Park—an area frequented by walkers, cyclists, and commuters. The trail is a well-used route that runs through the heart of the city and connects multiple recreational and transit corridors.
The Colorado Springs Police Department stated that, as of now, there is no evidence suggesting foul play, but the investigation remains ongoing.
