After locating Olszewski and her youngest kid in St. Louis, MO, on Saturday, investigators continued their search and eventually found the other two children, all of whom are now in protective custody in Missouri.

According to officials, OCSO investigators were working with the Mishawaka Police Department when they discovered information indicating that Olszewski was mentally unwell at the time of the initial incident and had a history of mental instability.

According to OCSO officials, the family was also traveling with Lambchop, a medium-sized Shiba Inu.
