According to the Lititz Borough Police Department, she was located at the intersection of Laurel Avenue and East Fourth Avenue at 12:04 a.m. with life-threatening injuries.
The responding officer immediately requested emergency medical assistance, and she was transported to a local hospital, where she died shortly after arrival, according to the LBPD.
Investigators haven’t specified how the woman was harmed, but her death is being examined in collaboration with the Lancaster County Coroner’s Office, which will establish the cause and manner of death.
At this time, police believe there is no known threat to public safety.
