3 People Arrested In West El Paso Shootings

On April 24, 2025, police responded to two separate shots-fired calls in west El Paso, arresting three people.

The initial call came in around 3:29 p.m. from the 200 block of Hillview, where a blue vehicle was claimed to have shot at a home before escaping. While investigating this incident, authorities received a second shots fired call about 4:15 p.m. from a blue Honda Ridgeline.

An officer saw the described car on the 300 block of St. Vrain. The ensuing inquiry determined that a 16-year-old man, Jordan James Yarde, 17, and Antonio Abel Morales, 32, carried out the gunshots. There were no injuries recorded in either instance.

The 16-year-old male was directed to the Juvenile Probation Department. Jordan James Yarde was arrested and charged with Deadly Conduct Discharge Firearm, Discharge Firearm in Certain Municipalities, and Possession of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 over one gram but less than four grams. Antonio Abel Morales was arrested and charged with Deadly Conduct Discharge Firearm, Discharge Firearm in Certain Municipalities, and Theft of Property Less Than $100, all with a prior conviction. Yarde and Morales have been booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility.
