Two South Florida mothers were detained after many children were discovered alone in a Miami Beach apartment.
Lourdes Reyes Martinez, 23, and Cesia Rosales Reyes, 48, are charged with several counts of child neglect.
According to police, officers responded to an apartment on Euclid Avenue on Saturday after a father voiced concern for his one-year-old’s safety.
Police claimed the infant was found crying with three other children ranging in age from two to eight.
Two youngsters were wearing filthy diapers.
According to police, there was no accessible drinking water and just rotting food in the refrigerator.
It also looked like one of the mothers was engaged in a car accident before arriving at the residence.
