McAllen police responded to a serious crash in the 5100 block of Buddy Owens Boulevard that day involving a gray 2019 Toyota Camry driven by Bazan and a silver 2016 Ford Fiesta driven by Marissa Delgado Mejia.

“The front passenger of the Ford Fiesta was identified as Ms. Marlene Delgadillo,” the document claimed.

The text does not specify what time the crash occurred.

A witness to the crash reported that Bazan was driving eastward on Buddy Owens Boulevard at a high speed, disregarding a red light before colliding with the Ford Fiesta.

Bazan remains in the Hidalgo County Adult Detention Center on a $150,000 bond.
