A Spectrum worker was seriously injured after being struck by a car on Saturday night.
The incident occurred around 10:20 p.m. at the intersection of Green Level Church Road and Kitt Creek Road. Investigators say the Spectrum employee, who was working on the side of the road, was hit by an SUV and was hospitalized with critical injuries.
The driver, identified as 36-year-old Juanita Ramirez, was arrested and charged with driving while impaired and failure to yield.
The Cary Police Department is continuing to investigate the incident.
