Two people have been arrested and charged in connection with a shooting investigation in Chapel Hill.
Police arrested Kenneth Antwaine Perry, 40, and Ebony Montrice Wade, 27, both of Chapel Hill, on Thursday.
The arrests stem from an incident early Wednesday morning when officers responded to gunfire reports in the 200 block of North Roberson Street. Investigators said someone fired at two men before fleeing the scene.
No one was hurt.
Perry faces several charges, including attempted first-degree murder, possession of a firearm by a felon, assault by pointing a gun, and discharging a firearm within city limits. He’s being held at the Orange County Detention Center without bond.
Wade is charged with felony conspiracy and accessory after the fact. Her bond is set at $250,000 secured.
Both are expected to make their first court appearance on Friday.
