ENGLEWOOD — Value Added Packaging, Inc. filled care packages for the Mustard Seed Foundation on Friday, June 12, at their facility in Englewood.
The Mustard Seed Foundation is the first and only Residential Parenting Facility in Montgomery County meeting this under served and almost forgotten population. Shondale Atkinson, the organization’s founder, spoke to Value Added Packaging’s Team in March about the importance of the work her organization does.
Value Added Packaging feels it is important for the organization to support the community as a team, which is why they shut down production to learn about charitable organizations and support them together. In total, the VAP Team filled 40 care packages at the luncheon with small gifts such as crayons, coloring books, stickers, toys, and pencils. The care packages will then be taken to The Mustard Seed Foundation’s office, and the organization will give them to children attending their day camps this summer.
The Mustard Seed Foundation is proud to be the first and only Residential Parenting Facility in Montgomery County meeting this under served and almost forgotten population.
