ENGLEWOOD — Police responded to the area of Katy Lane sat 11:40 p.m. Thursday on the report of the sound of gun fire.
Officers investigating were directed to the 100 block where a homeowner had discovered bullet holes in a window. The home was equipped with a video surveillance system. After reviewing the recording of the surveillance system several individuals were shown approaching the home on foot. According to police, at least two of the individuals were armed.
The suspects fired several shots into the home before fleeing. No one was home at the time of the shooting and no one was hurt.
Police were able to identify two of the suspects based on the images captured by the surveillance cameras. The suspects are currently being sought by Englewood detectives. Police declined to name the suspects.
The incident is believed to be linked to an ongoing domestic situation.
