CLAYTON — The City of Clayton will be hosting an Ohio State Football tailgate party this Saturday in the Meadowbrook at Clayton clubhouse in the Laveris Room.

ESPN Radio 1410 and 92.9 FM, which will be broadcasting the Buckeye games this year, offered the city an opportunity to host a tailgate party at Meadowbrook.

“We decided to take up their offer and they will be doing a live remote before the Ohio State vs. Northern Illinois game,” said Rob Anderson, director of development.

Mark Neal of 1410 will be present to do the live remote from 1 until 2 p.m. and to meet with OSU fans. The game will kick off at 3:30 p.m.

“This is not a golf related event,” Anderson said. “This is for non-golfers. Anybody who would like to come can bring their kids. This is a family friendly event. We bought a special projector that is full high definition and we intend to project the game up on a wall.”

Elite Catering will have food specials such as chicken wings, hamburgers and some drink specials as well for fans attending the tailgate party.

“Everyone is welcome to come out to enjoy the game and have some good food,” Anderson stated.

Elite Catering will also be giving away OSU related raffle prizes during the tailgate party.
