DAYTON — Sheriff Phil Plummer is welcoming citizens who are interested in taking a closer look at the values and philosophy of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office to attend his upcoming Citizens’ Academy.
Classes begin Tuesday, September 15 and continue through Tuesday, November 17. The classes will meet every Tuesday night at various Sheriff’s Office locations from 6:30 until 9:30 p.m. Graduation from the Citizens’ Academy will be held on November 17 at the Harrison Township Government Center.
There are still a few seats open for this session, and there is no cost to attend the academy. Montgomery County residents who are interested in attending should visit the Sheriff’s Office website www.mcohiosheriff.org to apply.
