ENGLEWOOD — Randolph Township Historical Society (RTHS) is hoping to add several new members at the Vampire Open House from 1-4 p.m. on August 22 at the RTHS History Center, 114 Valleyview Dr., Englewood.
The name “Vampire” was selected for this event because RTHS is seeking an influx of younger members with “new blood,” new ideas, and energy to take the Society into the future. Persons between the ages of 40-65, especially those who participate in the “I Grew Up in Englewood” Facebook group, are being targeted for their interest in local history.
Discounted half-year memberships will be available for $5, along with free newsletters, prizes, etc. RTHS members will be on hand to serve as hosts, listen, and show what the History Center has to offer.
This event is free to the public with parking available in front of the History Center and in lots across the street. Call 832-1858 for more information.
