ENGLEWOOD — The Earl Heck Community Center, 201 N. Main St. Englewood, has announced three new events.
• Trivia for Seniors will be held at the Earl Heck Center on August 15 at 11 a.m. Open to anyone 55 or older. Prizes will be awarded to the top trivia winners. Sponsored by Cypress Pointe Health Campus.
• Crossroads Hospice will host an informational seminar on Palliative Care at the Earl Heck Center on Tuesday, August 22 at 2 p.m. Palliative Care is specialized medical care for people with serious illnesses. Free to attend. Refreshments will be provided. Call 836-5929 to reserve your spot.
• A new Grief Support Group workshop will be held at the Earl Heck Community Center beginning on September 7. The six week session is for adults who are grieving the death of a loved one, the end of a dream, the break-up of a relationship or grieving health loss. Sessions included presentations, support and group discussions. The group will be led by Reverend Pat Eller and Elizabeth Haywood. There is no cost to attend.
