CLAYTON — Northmont Community Market Opening Day on Sunday, June 12 was a success.
Over 20-vendors attended featuring items locally grown vegetables, plants, candles, home décor, flowers, pet items, baked goods, clothing and more. In addition to a variety of vendors several food trucks were in attendance and their food so good they sold out.
The Northmont Thunderback Club was selling baked goods to raise money for the upcoming school year.
Northmont Community Market, located near Esther Price in the Village of North Clayton, is open every Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. until October 2. Upcoming events include Fourth of July, Memorial Day Car Show, and Octoberfest.
The Fourth of July celebration will be Monday, July 4 sponsored by Englewood Truck. The market will mix things up by starting at 4 p.m. and will feature a variety of vendors. Also, food trucks will be present to satisfy appetites along with live music and bounce house for your entertainment until fireworks at dusk.
There will also be a free movie playing at 9:15 p.m. on a large inflatable screen sponsored by E & O entertainment. Don’t miss this chance to enjoy products from local vendors and a great viewing area for Fourth of July fireworks.
