DAYTON — Montgomery County Commissioners accepted $10,000 from AT&T at their June 14 Commission Meeting.

The contribution is in support of annual Signing Day celebrations at all of Montgomery County’s 24 public and private high schools where graduating seniors are recognized for their career choices and post-high school education plans.

AT&T’s Aspire initiative supports students in the classroom, at home and at work to prepare them for success tomorrow.

“AT&T Aspire is proud to support Signing Days across Montgomery County,” said Mark Romito, AT&T External Affairs director. “AT&T invests in innovative education initiatives because our schools are creating the workforce of tomorrow – the very workers we need to compete in a global economy.”

“We are tremendously grateful to AT&T for its commitment to our young people,” said Montgomery County Commission President Judy Dodge. “In Montgomery County, we’re committed to growing a well-educated workforce so families can thrive and our businesses can prosper. Our high schools’ Signing Days – initiated by Learn to Earn Dayton – are just one of myriad ways Montgomery County is encouraging young people to excel in school and later on the job.”
