NASHVILLE — Ten Northmont DECA members competed at the International Career Development Conference in Nashville, Tennessee April 23 – April 27.

The members were among 17,000 high school students attending the conference from all 50 states and many countries. Adrienne Draper was able to finish Top Ten in her event ‘Entrepreneurship Franchising.’

“This is a very exciting time for the Northmont DECA chapter,” said Eric Wagner DECA advisor. “As it is very difficult to first get to the International Career Development Conference, but to place in the Top Ten is a true testament to Adrienne’s work ethic. Along with Adrienne it was great to have so many students represent Northmont and Ohio DECA at this event. This is a great event that showcases the hard work and dedication that the students have put forth this year. Having six seniors end their DECA career this way is amazing and to have four underclassmen go shows that the future is bright for Northmont DECA.”
