ENGLEWOOD — Northmont Superintendent Sarah Zatik and Assistant Superintendent Tony Thomas presented information to the Northmont Rotary regarding the 5.9 mill operating levy that will be on the March 15 ballot.

Zatik and Thomas discussed the state funding cuts and county tax reappraisals that continue to affect the school district. This is Northmont’s first request for operating dollars in six years and even with the levy’s passage, the district will continue to look for responsible cost efficiencies to stretch operating dollars as long as possible.
