The following information has been provided by Northmont area police departments. The information listed in this column is considered public record and is available to anyone seeking information concerning what is provided below.

For purposes of this column, the term “arrested” or “charged” does not necessarily mean the person was taken into physical custody. It could also indicate that a summons was issued to the subject in lieu of physical custody.

All the people listed as “arrested” or “charged” are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Tuesday, Nov. 10

City of Union

Report 15-062037: Jennifer L. Fields, 31, of Union, was charged with barking or howling dog. A court summons was issued.

Wednesday, Nov. 11

City of Union

Report 15-062282: Criminal damaging to a vehicle (flattened tire) was reported at Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5434. The victim advised that she met her soon to be ex-husband at the VFW to tell him what the divorce attorney had to say. She stated that after they were done talking they were to go inside the VFW. When she got out of her vehicle and started to go inside her husband stated he would be right in. He never came in and when she got into her vehicle to leave her tire was flat.

Friday, Nov. 13

City of Union

Report 15-062654: The unauthorized use of a motor vehicle was reported in the 100 block of Calmont Farm Circle. The victim signed a refusal to prosecute form.

Saturday, Nov. 14

Clay Township

Report 15-2826-11: Justin T. Richards, 22, of Hollansburg, and Bailey R. Lewandowski, 24, of New Madison, were both charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of drugs. Both were issued a court summons and released.

Sunday, Nov. 15

City of Union

Report 15-063006: Police responded to the 100 block of Lightner Lane on a possible overdose. Nicholas G. Jenkins, 36, of Union, was charged with possessing drug abuse instruments (hypodermic needle). He was transported to the hospital for treatment and issued a summons to appear in court.

Tuesday, Nov. 17

City of Union

Report 15-063483: A 17-year-old female was charged with domestic violence on S. Montgomery St. Charges were forwarded to Montgomery County Juvenile Court.

Report 15-063400: Unknown subjects threw a beer bottle at a residence in the 100 block of Heckman r. The bottle struck the garage door and frame and shattered leaving glass on the drive and walkway.

Clay Township

Report 15-2846-11: Nicole J. Wright, 39, of Dayton 45449, was charged with driving while under the influence, driving under the influence with a prior DUI conviction within the last 20 years, and license plate light/tail lights required. She was issued a court summons and released to a friend.

Wednesday, Nov. 18

City of Union

Report 15-063614: The theft of 11 morphine pills was reported at an apartment in the100 block of Maple Gardens Dr.

Thursday, Nov. 19

Clay Township

Report 15-2855-11: Randall R. Plessinger, 53, of Union City, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia (hypodermic needle). He was issued a court summons and released.

Friday, Nov. 20

City of Englewood

Report 15-064548: Criminal damaging was reported at Carriage House Apartments. A window screen was broken on the laundry room, a glass bottle broken on the ground in front of the room, a piece of wall material peeled off and red berries smashed on the floor.

City of Union

Report 15-063967 and 15-064019: Unknown subjects drove a vehicle through two front yards in the 100 block of Irongate Drive and tore up the lawns.

Report 15-064037: Unknown subjects drove a vehicle through a front yard in the 400 block of Applegate Dr. and damaged the lawn.

Clay Township

Report 15-2866-11: Tyrone L. Younce, 44, of Brookville, was arrested on a warrant issued by Vandalia Municipal Court. Younce was taken into custody and transported to the county jail.

Sunday, Nov. 22

City of Union

Report 15-064441: De’Ray N. Owens, 26, of Union, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation. He was taken into custody and transported to the county jail.

Clay Township

Report 15-2883-11: Anna E. Sprinkle, 23, of Brookville, was arrested on an active warrant. She was taken into custody and transported to the county jail.

Tuesday, Nov. 24

City of Englewood

Report 15-064811: Morgan L. Meyers, 26, of Dayton 45410, was charged with disorderly conduct for an intentional overdose. She also had an active felony warrant for her arrest. She was transported to the hospital for treatment. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office later transported Meyers to jail on the warrant.

Wednesday, Nov. 25

Report 15-065036: An unknown black male fled Meijer after concealing a hair flattener in his jacket pocket. After fleeing the store the male ran toward Chipotle, entered silver, four door car and headed east on Interstate 70.

Thursday, Nov. 26

City of Union

Report 15-065210: Unknown subjects slashed the left rear tire on a vehicle parked in the 200 block of Oswald.

Saturday, Nov. 28

City of Englewood

Report 15-065603: Isaac I. Jenkins, 23, of Englewood, was charged with driving while under the influence and weaving. He was transported to the county jail.

City of Union

Report 15-065596: Amy L. Barney, 38, of Arcanum, was charged with driving while under the influence and failure to signal. She was issued a court summons and released to her mother. A passenger in the vehicle, Angela J. Ripple, 45, of Phillipsburg, was charged with having an open container in a motor vehicle. She was issued a court summons and released.

Sunday, Nov. 29

City of Englewood

Report 15-065612: Maurice L. Carter, 23, of Dayton 45416, was charged with menacing. Charges were forwarded to Vandalia Municipal Court.
