The following information has been provided by Northmont area police departments. The information listed in this column is considered public record and is available to anyone seeking information concerning what is provided below.

For purposes of this column, the term “arrested” or “charged” does not necessarily mean the person was taken into physical custody. It could also indicate that a summons was issued to the subject in lieu of physical custody.

All the people listed as “arrested” or “charged” are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Monday, Nov. 2

City of Clayton

Report 15-2059: Attempted burglary was reported on Cotillion Court.

City of Englewood

Report 15-060261: Unknown subjects broke the passenger side window of a pickup truck parked in the lot of the Clarion Inn and removed a Canon EOS camera and two lenses and 40 Vicodin pills.

Report 15-060357: Police responded to Samaritan North Health Center on a possible overdose. Upon arrival police observed two males standing outside a vehicle and female on the front passenger’s seat. Several members of the Good Samaritan Hospital North Emergency Center were attending to the female even though the emergency center was not due to open for business until the following day. The female’s face was turning blue as well as her upper body and she was not breathing. Sarah S. Smith, 19, of Dayton 45414, was charged disorderly conduct while intoxicated. She was issued a court summons and released to the care of Englewood Medic 98.

Report 15-060385: Christopher R. Combs, 44, of Pitsburg, was charged with theft at Wal-Mart. He was transported to the county jail.

Wednesday, Nov. 4

City of Englewood

Report 15-060612: Paul M. Vaughn, 30, of Dayton 45417, was charged with driving without an operator’s license. A passenger in the vehicle, Kenishia N. Mclean, 37, of Dayton 45403, was arrested on a warrant issued by Kettering Municipal Court for failure to comply. Both Vaughn and Mclean were taken into custody and transported to the county jail.

Thursday, Nov. 5

City of Englewood

Report 15-060890: The theft of a sweeper, paper plates, a mouse pad, stapler and a rubber stamp for school excuse notes was reported at Dr. Michael W. Barrow’s office at Good Samaritan North Health Center.

Friday, Nov. 6

City of Englewood

Report 15-061159: Breilun Travonte McCloe, 23, of Trotwood, was arrested on a warrant and was also charged with expired registration and no operator’s license. He was taken into custody and transported to the county jail.

Saturday, Nov. 7

City of Englewood

Report 15-061422: Lee Edward Williams, 39, of Clayton, was charged with theft at Wal-Mart. He was issued a court summons and released.

Report 15-061439: Two female juveniles were charged with shoplifting at Wal-Mart. Both were issued a court summons and released to family members.

Report 15-061448: A 16-year-old male from Trotwood and Trenston L. Brown, 20, of Trotwood, were each charged with theft at Meijer. The juvenile was issued a court summons. Brown was taken into custody and transported to the county jail.

Report 15-061454: Danielle N. Mannon, 30, of Middletown, was charged with the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Charges were forwarded to Vandalia Municipal Court.
