The following information has been provided by Northmont area police departments. The information listed in this column is considered public record and is available to anyone seeking information concerning what is provided below.

For purposes of this column, the term “arrested” or “charged” does not necessarily mean the person was taken into physical custody. It could also indicate that a summons was issued to the subject in lieu of physical custody.

All the people listed as “arrested” or “charged” are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Monday, Sept. 21

Clay Township

Report 15-2352-09: A 1999 GMC box truck was stolen from the west parking lot at Englewood Truck on Jacks Lane. The vehicle was recovered by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office in Cincinnati.

Wednesday, Sept. 23

Clay Township

Report 15-2387-09: Unknown subjects fired a pellet gun at a home in the 12000 block of Upper Lewisburg-Salem Road damaging the vinyl siding, vinyl shutters, a window and window screen.

Thursday, Sept. 24

Clay Township

Report 15-2376-09: Derek P. Hockenberry, 19, of Englewood, was charged with expired registration and possession of marijuana. He was issued a court summons and released.

Saturday, Sept. 26

Clay Township

Report 15-2477-09: Robert B. Gandee, Jr., 36, of Dayton 45410, was arrested on a warrant issued by Xenia Municipal Court for failure to appear on a child support hearing. Gandee was taken into custody, transported to State Route 202 in Huber Heights and released to a Greene County deputy.

Monday, Sept. 28

City of Englewood

Report 15-053037: Waymon Jones, 24, was charged with assault, criminal damaging, resisting arrest and possession of drugs. He was transported to the county jail.

Wednesday, Sept. 30

City of Clayton

Report 15-1854: MainSource Bank was robbed at gunpoint shortly after 4:30 p.m. by two black males and a black female. All three were wearing red jackets. One of the male suspects entered the bank manager’s office and held a gun to his head and took a money clip containing $40 cash and credit cards. A second male suspect put a gun to a customer’s face after ordering to move aside, then jumped on the counter and held the gun to the teller’s head and demanded money. After obtaining money all three suspects exited the bank and ran south on Main Street. The suspects shed their red jackets and latex gloves and left them in the front yard of a residence two properties south of the bank.

City of Englewood

Report 15-053629: Nathaniel Cole, 80, of Dayton 45406, was charged with driving while under the influence. He registered at .157 percent on a breath intoxilyzer test. Cole was issued a court summons and released to a friend.

Clay Township

Report 15-2425-09: Daren D. Ritenour, 49, of Brookville, was charged with violating a protection order. He was transported to the county jail.

Thursday, Oct. 1

City of Clayton

Report 15-1862: Unknown subjects shattered the driver’s side rear quarter panel window on a vehicle parked in a driveway in the 7200 block of Pineland Trail and removed the stereo from the dashboard.

Report 15-1861: Unknown subjects entered an unlocked vehicle parked in the 6000 block of Rangeview Dr. and removed the stereo from the dashboard.

Report 15-1856: A resident of Inwood Avenue coming home from work spotted a white male subject exit an orange Pontiac Grand Am and get into a waiting rust colored pickup truck that immediately fled the area. Police arrived and found that the stereo had been removed from the dashboard of the Grand Am.

Report 15-1857: Two unknown white males wearing black hooded sweatshirts exited a gray Buick driven by a white female at Orchard Grove Apartments and shattered the rear driver’s side window on a vehicle parked in the apartment complex. The suspects removed the faceplate to the car stereo and fled the area.

City of Englewood

Report 15-053820: Tyrone S. McConnell, 45, of Dayton 45406, was charged with driving under the influence. He registered at .153 percent on a breath intoxilyzer test. He was issued a court summons and released to a friend.

Friday, Oct. 2

City of Clayton

Report 15-1864: At 3:02 a.m. police found a vehicle parked in the 6100 block of Rangeview Drive that had a window shattered. The owner of the vehicle was contacted. He inspected the interior and said that nothing appeared to be missing.

City of Englewood

Report 15-053838: Unknown subjects shattered the rear driver’s side window on a vehicle parked in the street in 7000 block of Monte Carlo Dr. Nothing appeared to be missing from the vehicle even though a purse and loose cash was left in plain sight.

Report 15-053839: Jacob McElroy, 24, of Englewood, was charged with animal restraint. Charges were forwarded to Vandalia Municipal Court.

Report 15-054002: Jordan Anthony Russell, 23, of Clayton 45415, was charged with theft at Meijer. He was transported to the county jail.

Saturday, Oct. 3

City of Clayton

Report 15-1870: Dwight A. Crosby, 61, of Clayton 45415, was charged with driving under the influence, driving under the influence over the legal limit, marked lanes of travel, brake lights required and possession of marijuana. He registered at .177 percent on a breath intoxilyzer test. Crosby was transported to the county jail.

City of Englewood

Report 15-053882: Unknown subjects shattered the front and rear driver’s side windows on a two vehicles parked in front of separate residences in the 300 block of Jillwood Dr. Police drove around searching for other damage and found a vehicle with a shattered rear driver’s side window parked in the 300 block of Westerly Hills Dr.

Sunday, Oct. 4

City of Englewood

Report 15-054290: Police responded to the Taco Bell drive thru on the report of a possible intoxicated subject on a motor cycle. Joseph McGraw, 23, of Englewood, was charged with driving while under the influence. He registered at .129 percent on a breath intoxilyzer test. He was issued a court summons and released at his residence.
