The Denver Police Department announced the arrest of a Denver police officer in Douglas County on Wednesday evening.
An investigation into domestic violence charges, including third-degree assault, false imprisonment, harassment, and child abuse, led to the detention of officer Brandon Greulich.
Greulich joined the Denver Police Department in 2022, and he was most recently assigned to District Three patrol.
Due to the misdemeanor nature of the allegations, the police assigned Greulich to an off-line duty, where he will remain until the investigation concludes.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is conducting the inquiry.
