Clayton police & fire to host open house

Snacks and drinks were offered inside Fire House 85 as well as food on the grill served up outside in the parking lot at last year’s Clayton Fire & Police open house.

CLAYTON — Practice safety this month and come to meet the firefighters and police officers at the Clayton Fire & Police open house Wednesday, Oct. 4 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Station 85 located at the corner of Taywood and Old Salem roads.

Activities will include:

• Coloring books, stickers, wristbands, hats, etc.

• Face painting by Skull Dollz

• Free hotdogs, drinks, popcorn and cookies

• CareFlight MICU paramedic

• Flyover by CareFlight helicopter at 5:30 p.m.

• Pink Ribbon Girls fire truck

• Pink police cruiser

• Photographer Dorothy Beam

• Water house/Ladder lifts

• OVI golf cart challenge

• Dayton Police SWAT truck

• Bounce House

• Dayton Police Drug & Bomb K9

• Ohio State Patrol K9
