Clayton holds Labor Day fireworks

CLAYTON — The City of Clayton hosted its annual Labor Day fireworks display on Sunday, September 3 from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at Meadowbrook at Clayton, 6001 Salem Ave.

A huge crowd attended the second annual event. Activities included bounce houses, face painting, a performance by the Northmont Jazz Band, with free hot dogs, cotton candy and other treats.

There was free on-site parking. Fireworks were set off on the No. 10 fairway with families setting up lawn chair and blankets on the tee box and adjacent to the clubhouse to view the display, which lasted approximately 22 minutes.
