Naval Air Crewman (Helicopter) 1st Class (NAC/AW/SW) Brian Kaltenbach, from Dayton, assigned to the “Golden Falcons” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 12, jumps from an MH-60S Sea Hawk during search-and-rescue training.

The training enables real-world proficiency in open-ocean rescue procedure and equipment. HSC-12 is embarked aboard the Navy’s forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). Ronald Reagan, the flagship of Carrier Strike Group 5, provides a combat-ready force that protects and defends the collective maritime interests of its allies and partners in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
