ENGLEWOOD — Recently, the Northmont Rotary held its Annual 4-Way Speech Contest.

This is a contest for Northmont students to compete in speech writing and delivery with the subject as the Rotary 4 Way Test. That test asks people to consider Is it the TRUTH?, Is It FAIR to All Concerned?, Will It Build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?, and Will It Be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?.

First place went to Kara Combs, with Jeffrey Rucker earning second and Victoria Gulliam-Beale securing third place.

The Northmont Rotary Club meets at noon each Tuesday at Good Samaritan North Health Center, 9000 N. Main St., Englewood.
