“Foundation Game” to benefit food pantry

Staff Report

CLAYTON — The Northmont Boys Varsity and Junior Varsity basketball teams will be hosting Brookville in a Foundation Game on Monday, November 28.

Both games will be held in the Thunderdome at Northmont High School. The Junior Varsity will tip-off at 6 p.m. and the Varsity will begin at 7:30 p.m.

The OHSAA allows schools to play a “Foundation Game,” an exhibition game played under normal game conditions as long as the participating schools pick a charity to donate to.

Admission to the Foundation Game will be $3 for adults and $2 for students with a donation of a non-expired canned good or non-perishable item. All food donations will be collected at the gate and given to a local food pantry to use for the holidays.

No season passes or league passes will be accepted.
