ENGLEWOOD — Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) Business Professionals of America (BPA) students performed well at the recent BPA regional contests with 72 students winning or placing in the top six for their contest.

Of the regional winners, 35 qualified to compete at the State BPA Contest in Columbus March 17-18.

The following students placed in the top six at the Regional BPA Contest:

• Dillon Boninsegna, Media & Video Production Junior from Northmont High School, placed 1st in the Video Production Team BPA Regional Contest and qualified for the State BPA Contest.

• Joshua Garver, Business Ownership Junior from Northmont High School, placed 1st in the Global Marketing Team BPA Regional Contest and qualified for the State BPA Contest.

• Allison Hunziker, Medical Office Management Junior from Northmont High School, placed 3rd in the Medical Office Procedures BPA Regional Contest.

• Austin Pearce, Computer Network Engineering Senior from Northmont High School, placed 1st in the Systems Administration Using CISCO BPA Regional Contest and qualified for the State BPA Contest

• Elijah Rowland, Computer Network Engineering Junior from Northmont High School, placed 6th in the Computer Network Technology BPA Regional Contest.

• Kameron Seabrook, Business Ownership Senior from Northmont High School, placed 2nd in the Extemporaneous Speech BPA Regional Contest.

• William Tyler, Business Ownership Junior from Northmont High School, placed 1st in the Broadcast News Production Team BPA Regional Contest and qualified for the State BPA Contest.

• Ethan Wright, Computer Repair & Technical Support Junior from Northmont High School, placed 6th in the Database Applications BPA Regional Contest.

BPA is a national student organization that serves Business and Information Technology students. Members participate in activities that promote leadership, citizenship, academic, and technological skills, as well as competing in BPA contests related to their career field at the local, regional, state, and national levels.
