BROOKVILLE — Each year, the Montgomery Soil & Water Conservation District (SWCD) offers two scholarships to the youth of our county to assist them in furthering their conservation knowledge and goals.

Take a week to learn about trees and wildlife, courtesy of the Montgomery SWCD. Students in 9-12 grades who are at least 15 and a Montgomery county resident can win a full scholarship (worth $375) to Ohio Forestry & Wildlife Conservation Camp at Camp Muskingum in Carroll County Ohio.

Are you headed to college this fall and majoring in Natural Resources Management or an Agricultural Field? Each year, the Montgomery SWCD awards one $500 scholarship to a deserving student in Montgomery County.

For more details, deadlines, and the applications for both scholarships, go to www.MontgomerySWCD.org, call the office at (937) 854-7645, or stop by the office, located at 10025 Amity Road, Brookville, Ohio 45309. The staff would love to help you on your learning journey.
