The following information has been provided by Northmont area police departments. The information listed in this column is considered public record and is available to anyone seeking information concerning what is provided below.

For purposes of this column, the term “arrested” or “charged” does not necessarily mean the person was taken into physical custody. It could also indicate that a summons was issued to the subject in lieu of physical custody.

All the people listed as “arrested” or “charged” are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Monday, June 8

Clay Township

Report 15-1365-06: Roger Alan Taylor III, 19, of Lewisburg, was arrested by Lewisburg Police on a warrant issued by Clay Township. Taylor was released to a Clay Township officer and transported to the county jail.

Thursday, June 25

Clay Township

Report 15-1508-06: An unknown subject entered an unlocked residence on Estate Drive in Brookville and removed 72 prescription pills from a pill bottle. Nothing else in the residence was disturbed.

Monday, June 29

City of Englewood

Report 15-034626: Ladeja Darque Berry, 19, of Trotwood, and Rayvonn Lashawn Dixon, 19, of Dayton 45402, were each charged with theft at Wal-Mart. Both were issued a court summons and released.

Tuesday, June 30

City of Englewood

Report 15-034904: Kimberly A. Wetzel, 44, of Dayton 45414, was charged with theft at Wal-Mart. She was issued a court summons.

Clay Township

Report 15-1547-06: Cloral W. Clinard II, 23, of Eaton, was arrested by Lewisburg Police on a warrant issued by Clay Township for failure to appear in court. Clinard was released to a Clay Township officer and transported to the county jail.

Wednesday, July 1

City of Englewood

Report 15-034961: Unknown subjects set fire to an orange construction fence surrounding the southeast playground at Englewood Elementary. Police observed three people running from the area and were last seen on Cromer Court. A medic crew spotted the fire and notified police.

Report 15-035165: Michael Montel Montgomery, 18, at large, was charged with menacing and criminal damaging at Union Food and Gas. A warrant request was sent to Vandalia Municipal Court.

Report 15-035035: Michelle C. Dennis, 46, of Dayton 45416, was charged with theft at Wal-Mart and falsification of her identity. She was transported to the county jail.

Thursday, July 2

City of Englewood

Report 15-035290: Gregg A. Seebeck, 53, of New Carlisle, was charged with theft at Kroger. He was transported to the county jail.

Report 15-035371: Linda Marie Crowder-Gray, 52, of Dayton 45406, was charged with theft at Wal-Mart. Charges were forwarded to Vandalia Municipal Court which will issue a summons to appear.

Friday, July 3

City of Clayton

Report 15-1258: Unknown subjects broke the rear driver’s side window on a vehicle parked in a driveway on Jacquelyn Court.

Report 15-1257: One pane of a kitchen window was broken at Wolf Creek Apartments. The victim’s boyfriend stated the window was accidentally broken while he was playing ball. He stated he contact the apartment management to pay for the damage.

Report 15-1255: Unknown subjects fired a BB gun and damaged a window on a garage in the 7100 block of Crestway Dr.

City of Englewood

Report 15-035428: Ruth Ann Tharpe, 48, of Dayton 45402, was charged with disorderly conduct while intoxicated at Steak ‘n Shake. She was transported to the county jail.

City of Union

Report 15-035583: Joseph Queen, 43, at large, was charged with violating a temporary protection order. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

Saturday, July 4

City of Clayton

Report 15-1264: Breaking and entering was reported in the 5400 block of Westbrook Rd. Four boxes of ceramic tile, a new dishwasher, a bathroom vanity and sink, a flat panel TV, a miter saw, a shop vac, tools and building materials were stolen.

Sunday, July 5

City of Clayton

Report 15-1270: Criminal damaging was reported at Wolf Creek Apartments.
