ENGLEWOOD — The Northmont Rotary was recently visited by the Rotary District 6670 Governor Bill Shula of the Rotary Clubs of Southwest Ohio. Shula provided an update on activities of note in other clubs as well as promoting participation in district wide events.

Following Shula’s update, the featured program for Northmont Rotary was the Aullwood Audubon Center and Farm.

Newly selected Executive Director Alexis Faust provided an overview of the upcoming spring activities occurring at Aullwood and then Chris Rowlands, Environmental Education Specialist delivered an entertaining, informative presentation.

Rowlands reviewed what methods he uses to connect with the many school children of varying ages and experiences. This included rapping with Gary the Groundhog, songs, and an interactive sing-a-long with members of the Rotary.

The Northmont Rotary Club meets at noon each Tuesday at Good Samaritan North Health Center, 9000 N. Main St., Englewood.
