Police reports from Northmont area law enforcement agencies

The following information has been provided by Northmont area police departments. The information listed in this column is considered public record and is available to anyone seeking information concerning what is provided below.

For purposes of this column, the term “arrested” or “charged” does not necessarily mean the person was taken into physical custody. It could also indicate that a summons was issued to the subject in lieu of physical custody.

All the people listed as “arrested” or “charged” are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Tuesday, Oct. 4

City of Englewood

Report 16-055290: Joshua R. Milton, 26, of Englewood, was charged with disorderly conduct after overdosing on heroin. He was issued a court summons and transported to the Good Samaritan North Emergency Room for treatment.

Wednesday, Oct. 5

Clay Township

Report 16-2781-10: Dustin R. Henry, 27, of Brookville, was charged with disorderly conduct following a domestic incident. He fled the scene prior to police arrival. Charges were forwarded to Montgomery County Western Division Court.

Friday, Oct. 7

City of Englewood

Report 16-056072: Christopher S. Marshall, 40, of Clayton, was charged with the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Charges were forwarded to Vandalia Municipal Court.

Monday, Oct. 10

City of Englewood

Report 16-056597: Police responded to the report of a disturbance in the 400 block of Rumson St. The incident became a child custody dispute. The complainant was informed that since it was shared parenting situation and that he would need to consult his attorney.

Tuesday, Oct. 11

City of Englewood

Report 16-056866: Patricia A. Bergen, 76, of Englewood, was charged with control of dogs. She was issued a court summons.

Wednesday, Oct. 12

City of Clayton

Report 16-2407: Unknown subjects removed a boys and a girls 10-speed bike from a side patio in the 4000 block of Sydenham Dr.

Thursday, Oct. 13

Clay Township

Report 16-2841-10: Bryant Barnes, 27, of Greenville, was charged with driving under license forfeiture suspension, failure to provide proof of insurance and possession of marijuana. He was issued a court summons and released to a valid driver.

Friday, Oct. 14

City of Clayton

Report 16-2425: An unknown white teenage male riding a bike threw a rock at car driving down Rundell Drive near Robert Ulrich Avenue and damaged the passenger side view mirror. The mirror was popped out of its frame and shattered. Police searched the area but could not find a suspect that matched the description.

City of Englewood

Report 16-057520: A pair of 16-year-old females were charged with theft at Wal-Mart. Charges were forwarded to Montgomery County Juvenile Court.

Report 16-057546: John Gallagher, 41, of Fairborn, was charged with theft at Wal-Mart. He was issued a court summons.

Saturday, Oct. 15

City of Englewood

Report 16-057604: Joseph B. Renner, 22, of Tipp City, was charged with driving under the influence after police responded to Taco Bell on a driver passed out in the drive thru lane. Upon arrival an employee told police that the vehicle had driven over a curb and grass barrier between the businesses and that the vehicle was now in the drive thru at Wendy’s with the driver passed out with his vehicle in front of the order speaker. Renner was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

Report 16-057269: A 14-year-old female was charged with being a runaway. Charges were forwarded to juvenile court.

Report 16-057730: The theft of a BMX style bike was reported at Englewood Elementary.

Report 16-057758: A pair of 17-year-old females were charged with theft at Wal-Mart. Charges were forwarded to juvenile court.

Sunday, Oct. 16

City of Clayton

Report 16-2440: An unknown subject entered an unlocked vehicle parked on Rundell Drive and stole two cell phone chargers, a DVD and a handful of loose change. The same suspect entered a guest’s vehicle staying at the same residence and stole a gray Columbia jacket.

City of Englewood

Report 16-057838: Cynthia L. Farley, 53, of Trotwood, was charged with theft at Meijer and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

Report 16-057890: Alexia L. Harvey, 22, of Dayton 45424, and Keith E. Sizemore, 46, of Dayton 45406, were both charged with theft at Meijer. Both were transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

Monday, Oct. 17

City of Clayton

Report 16-2450: A resident in the 7000 block of Kimmel Road reported hearing a loud noise outside. When the resident went outside to leave for work she noticed that her mailbox had been damaged and forcefully removed from its post.
